Simone Biles may have dominated the 2024 Paris Olympics, but she’s not letting her victories drain her wallet.

After wrapping up the Games with three gold medals and a silver, the celebrated gymnast shared a shocking experience from her final night in Paris. In an Aug. 20 TikTok video, Simone revealed that a local nightclub attempted to charge her a staggering $26,000 for a bottle of champagne.

“We had the closing ceremonies at the Olympics, and I decided to go out afterward,” Simone recounted. “You won’t believe it—this club tried to hit me with a $26,000 tab for champagne. Like, are you serious?”

While Simone was in the mood to celebrate, she wasn’t about to splurge on something so outrageous.

“Of course, I didn’t go through with it,” she clarified. “But seriously, who does that? It’s just ridiculous.”

At 27, Simone led Team USA’s women’s gymnastics squad, including teammates Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera. Despite her legendary status, she made it clear that she prefers to keep things low-key.
