Everyone loves puppies. Everyone loves sleep. Putting aside the cuteness overload, puppies, like human babies, need plenty of rest for their development. Like a human teenager, they can also sleep for up to 18 hours a day. Are you curious if your dog is the only one that sleeps in weird positions? The sleeping positions of dogs usually vary with their mood. Sometimes, your dog’s sleeping position can reveal a lot about their personalities.

After a long weekend, Coop will take sleep wherever he can get it. Too funny! Unlike his human counterpart, Coop can sleep anywhere, any place, any time. There’s no doubt about it: he sure knows how to sleep. The amount of time spent napping varies from place to place and depends on how active he has been. Counting little naps and longer snoozes, Coop can undoubtedly sleep many hours a day. One of his favorite places to sleep is his owner’s car because, you know, nothing can lulls you so comfortably to sleep than a bumpy ride around town. You may notice that he even tries to open his droopy eyes but he is so dreamy that he doesn’t bother to stay awake.

The positions dogs sleep in, the way they twitch or move, and the amount of time they spend napping can reveal a lot about how they’re feeling. Sleeping habits can give clues about a dog’s health and happiness that you can interpret if you know what to look for.
