Lasagna with Bolognese Ragù

Ingredients

For the Bolognese Ragù:

500 grams ground meat
Celery, carrots, onions
White or red wine
Cloves, bay leaf
150 grams tomato paste
For the Béchamel Sauce:

1 liter milk
70 grams flour
70 grams vegetable oil
Salt
Nutmeg
To complete the lasagna:

Grated Parmesan cheese
Lasagna sheets
Instructions

Start with the Bolognese Ragù:

Finely chop the celery, carrots, and onions.
Sauté the vegetables in a pot with a little oil until softened.
Add the ground meat and cook until it's browned and dry.
Add the cloves, bay leaf, and a splash of wine. Cook until the wine has evaporated.
Stir in the tomato paste and a bit of broth or water. Let the ragù simmer for about an hour.

Prepare the Béchamel Sauce:

Pour 1 liter of milk into a pot and heat it on the stove.
Weigh 70 grams of flour and 70 grams of vegetable oil.
When the milk begins to boil, add the flour mixture and cook for a minute, stirring constantly.
Season with salt and a pinch of nutmeg.

Assemble the Lasagna:

Prepare the grated Parmesan cheese and your lasagna sheets. You can use either pre-cooked sheets or ones that need to be boiled.
Layer the ingredients in a baking dish, making 5 layers as shown in the video.
Bake in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
