Max and I embarked on an adventurous, muddy walk on Tuesday night, August 20th, 2024, behind my old high school to discover how it has transformed since my teenage years, nearly 30 years ago! As we strolled along the familiar yet changed paths, we reminisced about our school days, sharing stories of our favorite teachers and unforgettable moments that shaped our youth. The air was filled with the scent of damp earth and grass, and the sounds of crickets chirping added to the nostalgic atmosphere. We took our time exploring the grounds, noticing the new buildings that had replaced old ones, and the vibrant greenery that had grown over the years. It was a mix of emotions as we reflected on how much time had passed and how our old high school had evolved into something new, yet still held memories of our past.
