Superyacht’s last moments before sinking caught on camera

Video footage has been released of the moments leading up to the sinking of a superyacht with 22 people aboard. The Bayesian was anchored off the northern coast of Sicily on Monday, when it was battered by a storm, and CCTV caught the yacht’s mast appearing to lean over before disappearing.

At least one person is confirmed to have died following the sinking, while 15 people have been rescued. The remaining passengers, including British tech billionaire Mike Lynch, are currently unaccounted for, and a search and rescue operation is ongoing.
