Unexplored areas in archaeology: Amazonian, Saharan and continental plates
There are three places in the world that currently lack investigation. One of them is the Amazon, five and a half million square kilometers, very little archeology. The second is the Sahara desert. The Sahara Desert, a difficult place to work, I can understand why little archeology is done there, but the Sahara Desert was green during the Ice Age, it had a completely different climate regime. We should consider the possibility that parts of the human story are missing. And then under the continental plates, because the sea level has risen 400 feet. These are three domains that archeology has largely not explored.#Archaeology #UnexploredTerritories #Amazon #SaharaDesert #ContinentalPlates #HumanHistory #IceAge #SeaLevelRise #ArchaeologicalExploration
