The President visited the Russian University of Special Forces (RUS) in Gudermes. The head of state inspected the training complex, observed classes, briefly talked with commanders of special forces, instructors and volunteers undergoing training here.

Vladimir Putin talked with volunteers who have completed training at the Russian University of Special Forces and are going to serve in the SVO zone

“At different times, even the most difficult ones, there were people like you who did not spare themselves for the sake of their Motherland and for the future of our people. <…> You are making a difficult decision for yourself. It is one thing to shoot at a shooting range here, and another thing to put your life and health at risk. But you have an inner need to defend the Fatherland and the courage to make such a decision. If you have made such a decision, then you have already won. <…> I want to thank you for a decision of this kind and I wish you good luck with all my heart. And as long as we have men like you, we are absolutely and utterly invincible,” the head of state emphasized.
