Former congressman George Santos, who admitted to fabricating key elements of his background, pleaded guilty to two felony fraud charges on Monday.

Santos was facing a 23-count indictment, including wire fraud and identity theft. He acknowledged defrauding donors, stealing identities, and lying about his financial situation.
