It feels like much of the anxiety many of us feel comes from simply being imperfect! While perfection is not achievable - we certainly can set the intention to do the best we can in any given circumstance and try to show up as our best selves… Everything else is an opportunity to learn. The beauty of doing your best, is it means you could not have done more with what you knew then and your capabilities at the time. In those instances, though, where we really didn’t show up as our best selves or do our best - the learning is even more keen. It’s important that we do not allow ourselves to get caught up in the narrative of guilt and anxiety, but instead to show ourselves grace along with modifying our actions so that we can do and be better.
