Brigham Young tought people that the blood of Jesus could not wash away certain sins and that they would have to kill themselves in order to be saved. For those whom believed in this false prophet and killed themself trusting in their own blood as a sacrifice we know did not make heaven. We know Jesus said if a blind man follows a blind man they both fall into the pit. If these men would have just read the bible they could of trusted in the blood of Jesus and truly been saved.
