Il 18 Agosto 2024 nella Basilica intitolata ai SS. Giovani e Paolo nella Capitale, si è tenuta la cerimonia di commemorazione del 453° anniversario del martirio del grande eroe della Repubblica Veneta Marcantonio Bragadin.
La sua figura è ancora viva e sentita dal Popolo Veneto. Dopo la messa a suffragio, i partecipanti ed i militi in divisa storica si sono recati sotto la tomba dell'Eroe e Martire, per omaggiarlo da parte del Maggior Consiglio della REPUBBLICA VERNETA.
