Detroit 'top brass' cops formally charged, get unwavering support from union president

Detroit Police Lieutenant Tim Leach and Detroit Police Detective Sergeant Fred Person have both been formally charged in connection with a bar room assault in Corktown. Detroit Magistrate Jeffery Kleparek set a bond of $50,000,10 percent for Leach and also said he cannot carry a gun. Bond was set for Person at $25,000 and personal release.
