Who is the Resistance?

First we should determine who is not part of a resistance, in any context of the word, while we must also determine what might be resisted. With these concepts in mind, we can better understand the resistance. Then, we will look some effective methods which might be implimented by such resistance forces, inherently used against someone, or something, being resisted.
