2024 - 08-12 - Movie Night - RNC Convention Highlights

The superlative adjectives used to describe the Republican National Convention just keep coming. In case you didn’t know you all attended the greatest, most unified, loudest, superb, first class, outstanding, historical convention of all times!!!

I hope you’ll be able to join us at our next “Movie Night with the Grassroots” meeting to share your experiences with us.

The meeting will be Monday evening August 12th at the Black Diamond, 9614 E Sprague Ave in the Valley. The meeting starts right at 6:00 PM, people start arriving around 5:30.

If you would send the photos you would like to include in your recount of the events you found most Impactful (funny, sad, exciting, etc) please send them to me by email (cecillyjwright@gmail.com) in the order you will speak about them. We’re hoping to bring your experiences of the convention back here to Spokane and keep the vibe alive though the ups and downs that are sure to come these next few months.

Those of you who brought guests please bring them along – we’d like to hear from all of you. Plan on around 8 minutes to impart what you took in - in more than 4 days! 

Also, this month John will speak about President Trumps 'message' he left the convention with - the message is from the movie 'The Sum of All Fears'.

You will be amazed to see this very last part of the RNC convention unfold!

It should be a good night – we’ll review the Primary results first and then the convention will take up the rest of the evening!
