E-Scooter Vandalism Continues to Plague Red Cedar River

According to MLive, the Michigan Waterways Stewards have retrieved 260 e-scooters so far from rivers in the Lansing area, and a large majority of those come from the part of the Red Cedar River that runs through MSU’s campus. The vandalism poses a substantial eco-hazard, as the e-scooters are powered by lithium batteries, which are highly toxic to wildlife should they leak.
