Raksha Bhandan

Raksha Bandhan, also known as Rakhi, is a traditional Hindu festival celebrated in India and other parts of South Asia. The festival honors the bond between brothers and sisters. During Raksha Bandhan, sisters tie a decorative thread called a *rakhi* around their brothers' wrists as a symbol of love, protection, and the brother's vow to safeguard his sister.
