Ukrainian troops filmed looting Russian supermarket

A video has been shared online which appears to show Ukrainian troops looting a grocery store in the Kursk Region town of Sudzha. In the footage, one soldier can be seen behind the checkout, pretending to be the ‘cashier,’ while another jokes about ‘paying’ for his goods with Ukrainian money.

Sudzha has been mostly evacuated since Ukraine began an attempted incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region, leaving homes and stores vulnerable to looters. While fighting continues throughout the region, Ukrainian losses on the front lines are largely thought to be unsustainable.
