The Chief of the United States Border Patrol has announced that field agents arrested two men who are members of the violent Surenos gang which is an organization that pays tribute to the Mexican Mafia and operates inside the United States and in Prisons across the country.
Chief Jason Owens said one of the men were arrested in Laredo Texas, and the other in Tucson AZ. So far this Fiscal year, Border Patrol has arrested more than 452 gang members, of which 47 were Surenos. The gang, he said, is notorious for murder, extortion, drug dealing and human trafficking.
