Fun Loving Grandpa Cracks Hip Attempting Tricks On Segway Scooter

Do you like new technology? THIS fun loving grandma sure does. Or, did! She was feeling herself a LITTLE bit too much on this Segway scooter and next thing she knew, she was booty first down on the pavement. Whoops! That is one mighty kaboom.

Scooters have always seemingly been in vogue. When I was a little kid, after the thrill of riding my first bike wore off, I was push myself around the neighborhood on a two-wheeled scooter with inflatable wheels and a large deck for standing. Not sure where my dad came across it, but I’m fairly certain he gave it to my sister and I for Mother’s Day. Weird, right? My family had an unofficial tradition of going to Seattle Mariners baseball games on Mother’s Day. I guess it was a fun thing to do as a family and it got us out of the house. I remember just before leaving for one of those games, my dad took us to the backyard and unveiled the black and yellow scooter. One thing I remember well about the scooter was that the tires always struggled to hold air. Like, we could put air in, but it would never stay in. Peculiar.
