Heated discussion at family dinner table on the subject of the Rodney King arrest incident of 1991, recalling how Rodney King was targeted w/ excessive use of police force, but it's also true that he deserved to be arrested for various obvious urban-crime affiliation(s), and attracted police attention through his own reckless driving behind the steering wheel. This is merely a scene extracted from a popular film, which I personally don't consider all that good of a movie necessarily. Movie's never depict fair representation of right-wing ideas, but Edward Norton's character comes close to accurately describing how false victimhood status, pity and compassion is endlessly heaped on the blacks, yet very little of that same willingness to be understanding is ascribed to low-wage local law-enforcement who work difficult jobs in a thankless dystopian society
