Paul gives us a practical framework of freedom for daily Christian living and behavior, and we apply it to matters of sex. It boils down to this: love God; and love others. Follow God and his teaching, leading, and guiding via Word and Spirit. Be sensitive to cultural surroundings and the conscience of both self and fellow believers. Behavior that meets this two part framework is acceptable and pleasing to the Lord, and we can apply it to matters of sex. For today's standards, we have some serious introspection to do as it pertains to emphases and attitudes towards divorce.
