Paul Murphy - 'The Rule Of Life' . [Working session with Take 1]

Today's new song. It was an - uncomfortable write, especially towards the end. There's a lot of pleasure in being a songwriter/storyteller, but there's a lot of pain in it as well. Even when you're documenting the pain of others, it still rips a layer off your soul sometimes.

This is Take 1 of 4. The mix is not where I wanted it to be, I wanted my voice to be buried in the 'swampy' guitar, but it was hard not to get swept along in the lyric.
