"Cult City" and the San Francisco Democrats

Daniel Flynn, author of Cult City, told ASI that the Democratic Party machine in San Francisco included communist cult leader Jim Jones and ultimately resulted in the "revolutionary suicide" of 900 people in a communist commune in Guyana in 1978. Ignoring all of this, Rep. Nancy Pelosi later praised one of Jones' main supporters, communist Dr. Carlton Goodlett.
