457. I am no longer employed.

I was employed by the same drilling contractor for 20 years, and made my way up through the ranks to the position of Rig Manager. Then I took paid maternity leave when Beth was born a year ago, maternity leave is well over now and I was asked to return to work, I told them I was unable to work, so they mailed me a termination letter.

I am now anticipating the government asking for their maternity money back.
