Good morning, family and friends!

Last night on Facebook- I presented a Challenge:
It's time to push limits and embrace growth! Don't let anything hold you back—work hard and keep going strong. Whether you're aiming for physical strength, mental clarity, emotional peace, or spiritual depth, your effort will pay off.

This week, I'm kicking off a nightly routine to keep the momentum going:
- 3 sets of 10 pushups before bed
- Read from the Psalms
- Prayer and reflection

Join me in this journey—let's challenge ourselves and see the results together!

Last night, I embarked on the Night 1 Challenge, and I wanted to share with you the reflection that came from this time of reading, meditation, and prayer.

I focused on Psalm 1 (NKJV), a powerful passage that introduces the entire book of Psalms. According to ancient Christian commentary, the man described in this Psalm is our Lord Jesus Christ. The Incarnation—the Word becoming flesh—sets the tone for the Psalms, where Jesus teaches His Church how to pray and live following God's will. This is why the Psalms have been the Church's prayer book for centuries.

Psalm 1 offers a clear contrast between the godly and the ungodly, a contrast that Jesus embodied perfectly in His life on earth. The Psalm begins by describing how the godly man avoids the counsel of the wicked and the ways of sinners, choosing instead to delight in the law of the Lord. Jesus exemplified this perfectly in His earthly life, living a life marked by holiness, virtue, and unwavering commitment to the truth.

Verse 1 teaches us to avoid the paths of the wicked, as Christ did, and to be mindful of the influences in our lives. We are all called to follow the path of righteousness, just as Christ laid out for us.

Verse 2 emphasizes the importance of delighting in the law of the Lord. Jesus fulfilled the law and found His joy in His Father's commandments. We, too, are invited to find our happiness and foundation in the Word of God.

Verse 3 presents a picture of the righteous man as a tree planted by streams of water, bearing fruit in its season. This image reflects Christ's own life, deeply rooted in the will of God, producing fruit that brings life to the world. As His followers, we are all called to live lives rooted in Him, bearing fruit that blesses others and glorifies God.

In my reflection, I was reminded that Jesus is our ultimate example, the One who lived the perfect life and called us to follow Him. May we, like Him, choose the path of righteousness, find joy in God's Word, and live lives that bear fruit for His Kingdom.

Let us continue this challenge together, seeking Christ in all we do and allowing His life to shape ours.

I wish you all a blessed and fruitful day!

In Christ, love Jared W. Campbell
