The movie was directed by F. W. Murnau . This scary classic stars Max Schreck as Count Orlok. Max is a vampire who preys on the wife (Greta Schröder) of his estate agent (Gustav von Wangenheim). Max brings the plague to their town. Nosferatu is an unofficial, as well as unauthorized, adaptation of Bram Stoker's Dracula.
