The Dinah incident, Jacob's Daughter Dinah is aggressively courted by Schechem, Haram's son. It may have been rape.
Jacob and his son's are enraged. Haram comes to Jacob and ask for his permission to have Schecham and Dinah marry. Haram offers great wealth, land, and suggest their families should become one family. But, Jacob is still angry because somehow Schechem has violated their morals and ethics.
Jacob hatches a plan for revenge and proceeds to kill all of the men of Haram's family.
