The first lie, the first time cheating, the first blantant sign of disrespect. The first time you let that behavior slide, that sets the tone for the entire relationship. If you let that behavior slide once, you will let it slide every time. And, why would they change? You can say that it hurt you. But, your actions say, it didn't hurt enough for you to leave. And therefore, you accept that behavior. And, why would they change, when you accept it?
