You have probably seen the Relationship Status on Facebook. You may have even set it yourself. Or changed it when you have either begun or ended a relationship. But have you given much thought to what your status with God is?

#Yeshua is looking for His People to be in a relationship with Him. Sadly, far too many who claim His Name want to do no more than pay lip service to the idea. The problem with that is we can only be welcomed into #heaven if we are in a Relationship with Jesus. Something that goes beyond simply posting or claiming to have one. We must truly Remain In Him as Jesus commanded.

Join Conversations With The Evangelist for "What's Your Status? Are You In A Relationship With Jesus?" Join the discussion and think hard about what your relationship status, the only one that truly matters, really is. Are you spending time with the LORD? Are you talking to Him and listening to Him? Do you try to be like the Christ? If not, you are risking being sent away when Jesus says He never knew you.

The Evangelist is the first to admit he has never had a good relationship in his life. From a failed marriage that began when he was a severely mentally ill 18-year-old who had no idea what was happening or what he was getting into to his only other attempt at a relationship in his 56 years, a short term dating situation where she was talking marriage after only three weeks and telling him that he could not have any friends in his life other than her, things have certainly not been good. But The Evangelist did have many examples surrounding him of people in wonderful relationships from his friends at ZUB (Zanesville United Brethren Church). So, while not able to do it right himself, James Carter has seen what it means to be in a Good Relationship. Those are the types of relationships Jesus wants us to have with Him. We need to spend time together, communicate, and respect. If we fail to do so or refuse to do so, we will lose out on so much of what we could have. Let’s not do that. Let’s make our Status: In A Relationship With Jesus Christ, our Savior.
