A once-extinct butterfly has been reintroduced to England after being transported in a transit van through the Channel Tunnel in a COOL BOX.
The chequered skipper disappeared in England in 1976 because of a loss of habitat and the increased planting of conifers which is unsuitable for them to thrive.
The rare butterfly was historically found in a band of woodlands and limestone grassland from Oxfordshire to Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire.
