Evacuations prompted in Izmir due to forest fires

Firefighting helicopters were deployed to discharge water over burning forests as blazes approached residential buildings in the Karsiyaka district of Izmir, Türkiye. According to reports, residents from the Dogancay area in the Bayrakli district have been evacuated.
