The God of the Bible established the nation of Israel as His Chosen People. He set them in the Land of Canaan. Though they were driven from there and scattered across the globe - He promised they would return. They have been returning - and in 1948 they became a nation once again. They were established to serve as the people of Messiah and bless all the nations of the earth.
