Are Jews "The Chosen People" ?

What Does "Chosen People" Mean For Jews? Do Jews think that they are better than non-Jews?

The answer is no for both. The Jews aren't "chosen" or "better" just for being Jews. The word "chosen" describes the Jewish People choosing to have a sense of responsibility in striving to become the best they can be, while simultaneously helping the world around them, as a fundamental part of their culture. Every human being is equal, regardless of their identity and belief system.
