Ground has been broken on the state's first rehabilitation hospital for children

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital officials were joined by Governor Whitmer and others for the ceremony. The Joan Secchia Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is being built on Wealthy Street across from the Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital and they will be connected with a sky bridge. It is expected to be open in 2026.
