Princess Cruises Premier Package Price Increase - Worth It?

Princess has announced a new price increase on their Premier Package that will begin to roll out on ships starting August 31st. Here are my thoughts on the changes and whether I think this is worth the additional cost per day. Let me know whether you will buy into the Premier package due to, or despite, these changes!
