Did we survive our first month after going off grid?

It has been one month since we pulled the plug on the energy company and have been totally reliant on our DIY off grid solar power system to survive. I'm not going to lie a generator may have been involved which is to be expected at this time of year. I could do with a battery bank at least double the size of what I have currently but hey who couldn't? 🤔 I can already tell that the 2Kw of solar panels mounted vertically on the back of the garage have made a huge difference. We can draw more for longer during the day and still get the battery bank back up to full charge on sunny days even in November. We just have to hope it rains at night and stays sunny during the day! 🤣 That way I won't need to run the generator.
