Vostok 6, 1963 Poster! Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman in space, and this vintage Russian space program poster is from 1963. It was glued to an old board and was stained. We removed the board, cleaned it, linen backed it and retouched it. See how this historic Vostok 6 poster went thru a miraculous restoration!
We restore antique, vintage posters by "Linen Backing" them. Linen backing is when we take a poster and mount it to a piece of acid-free paper and cotton canvas. It is an archival mounting process and helps the poster be stronger so that it lasts longer.
