First Facebook posts, now real-life comments have landed a 61-year-old British man in prison.

David Spring was sentenced to 18 MONTHS in jail for chanting "who the f—k is Allah" during a protest outside Downing Street.

Spring also told police officers to their face that they're “c—ts” and chanted, "You’re not English anymore."

Spring defended his intentions, telling police, "I didn’t go up to London to riot. I went to complain about people put up in hotels," referring to illegal immigrants staying at taxpayers' expense. Yet, the court saw his behavior as a serious threat, dismissing his apology and regret.

While Spring's behavior was crude and inappropriate, does this really warrant 18 months in prison?
