Farm Bureau wants

- Mom cattle & Pregnant cattle to have 30-40 different vaccines
- New babies & weaning babies for the calves 25 to 30 different vaccines

“So I was doing some research over the weekend. What are you doing? On vaccination programs that the Farm Bureau had put out for anybody who's raising cattle or vaccinating cattle. Now we choose not to use any vaccines in our program, in our cattle, and that's just what we do. We're not claiming to be better than anybody else. That's just we don't use any.

But for mom cattle and pregnant cattle, they had about 30 to 40 different vaccines that you can use for them yearly. Yearly. And in the new babies and the weaning babies for the calves they had about 25 to 30 different vaccines. We do not need these many vaccines for our cattle.

They shouldn't need these. We have caused these diseases and viruses and sicknesses ourselves from overcrowding, not keeping clean pens, not using good animal husbandry. We shouldn't need these many vaccines. I'm curious to see what y'all think about this. Should we have these many vaccines?
