Here it is interesting to add that the МТ-ЛБу offers the possibility of creating a good emergency IFV.
And in fact the Ukrainians created such a vehicle by assembling the remains of MT-LBu they could find, which despite being designed and manufactured at the Kharkov plant, was not in active use in the AFU due to lack of components.
Thus, the vehicle was fitted with the combat module БМ-7 "Парус" .
As far as it is known, the vehicle was not very successful due to engine maintenance problems.
However, the vehicle offers possibilities within the context of the war and the many bizarre MTLB modifications we have seen as well as improvised transports.
