Here is a now-forgotten MSNBC report from Tom Costello, detailing how AP journalists conducted a 5-month long "water study" across 50 major US cities, and discovered chemical cocktails of pharmaceutical drugs were present in half of them. These cocktails included anything from blood pressure and cholesterol medications, to mood stabilizers, human reproductive hormones, and epilepsy drugs.

Nothing was ever done with the results from this study.
