Second Angel's Message: Purgatory

The Catholic Church teaches purgatory is a temporary place of purification for those who must receive punishment for sins already forgiven. Does God in fact say we must still receive punishment for sins already forgiven after we die? The belief that punishment is still due for sins forgiven after death nullifies Christ’s sacrifice at Calvary. Jesus Christ paid for the guilt of our sins as well as the punishment. This message examines purgatory, and proves the enemy of souls uses this teaching to place contempt upon God’s character and the sacrifice of His Son.
