Russian 'Scorching Sunlight' heavy flamethrower strikes Ukrainian positions

The Russian Defense Ministry released footage of a TOS-1A multiple rocket launcher targeting Ukrainian positions near Soledar, in the Donetsk People’s Republic.

The video, captured at night by a surveillance UAV with an infrared camera, shows the thermobaric rockets creating large glowing spots on the ground where the Ukrainian positions once stood.

The TOS-1A is known as ‘Solntsepyok’ or ‘Scorching Sunlight,’ and is technically classified as a heavy flamethrower due to its thermobaric ammunition.
