The Humane Society of Huron Valley in Ann Arbor is in desperate need

They have 513 animals being housed there right now and employee Wendy Welch says they have not had that many animals in her 15 years at the shelter. They are open seven days a week and have multiple time slots open daily for people to check out the animals who need a new, permanent home.
