Dude Who Won Women's Olympic Boxing Gold Medal Is Suing Musk & J.K. Rowlings For Calling Him A Dude

Posted • August 14, 2024: Elon Musk and J.K. Rowling were named in a lawsuit filed by Algerian Boxer Imane Khelif, accusing them of "acts of aggravated cyber harassment." The complaint was filed to French authorities by Khelif's attorney who says he hopes the prosecution investigates "whoever it feels necessary" on X. "What we’re asking is that the prosecution investigates not only these people but whoever it feels necessary. If the case goes to court, they will stand trial," attorney Nabil Boudi said to Variety. Boudi said the lawsuit "could target personalities overseas," adding that "the prosecutor’s office for combating online hate speech has the possibility to make requests for mutual legal assistance with other countries." Khelif went viral after dominating in the Olympics despite failing a gender test the year prior.
