Speaker Mike Johnson Calls On Senate To Pass SAVE Act 'Voter Fraud Is Very Real'

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is calling on the Senate to pass the SAVE act – which will make sure that only U.S. citizens vote in elections, by requiring proof of citizenship.
The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act was first introduced in May and passed by the House last month. Johnson now pushing for the bill on X, saying that
"There are few things more important to our country than ensuring the integrity of our elections. The people rightfully demand it, and Congress has a duty to act."
