On Sandwiches of History, a 1936 toasted chicken sandwich with guest host chef Sicily Sierra

Last year, today’s guest host chose to do the Monte Cristo Sandwich and I have to say it was a most excellent class on an iconic sandwich. This year, she opted to have me provide a recipe and so she’ll be taking on the Toasted Chicken Sandwich from 1,001 Sandwiches of 1936. Chef Sicily is a co-founder of the Kind Kitchen Group whose mission is to drive social change through food, education, and community empowerment. Not to mention a former executive chef and actor (she was in the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers and How Stella Got Her Groove Back!). Oh, and her Instagram Lives are always a kick.
