The latest from Ukraine: Russia has defeated an attempt to make inroads in Kursk, leaving behind piles of bodies, tanks, and armoured personnel carriers (made in the USA).
A fire has broken out at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant (the largest in Europe), but has been contained.
The Kursk move means that Russia cannot take only part of Ukraine but must seize control of its entirety or risk continuing guerilla war and sabotage from what remains.
No doubt, Putin will see that he has no choice.
Netanyahu says Hamas has been virtually destroyed, but the data says differently.
