NBC26 Storm Shield Weather Forecast
Tonight should be quiet with lows in the mid-50s. Thursday, most of the day should be quiet for most of us, but now with just a bit of instability starting to creep in, I can't rule out an isolated T'storm, mainly to the NW. Highs will top out in the mid 80s. Thursday night, with the sun going down, instability will wane, and we probably should be quiet with lows on the warm side in the low-60s. Friday, this will probably will be the best chance of scattered thunderstorms over the next 7 days. With daytime heating, we'll probably start to see scattered T'storms develop as the afternoon wears on. If you do end up under one, you could see a gust of wind or possibly a bit of hail. It'll be warm and more humid with highs in the mid/upper 80s. Now with a little instability hanging around for the Holiday Weekend, there will be small chances of afternoon showers or a T'storm, but you will have many more dry hours than rain. Highs will be in the mid-80s with some humidity for the whole weekend. That sounds awfully nice! The Fox River is experiencing minor flooding in Green Lake County. The river is expected to drop below flood stage by Thursday.
