United States Touring Car Championship - Episode 2

The United States Touring Car Championship is the longest running touring car championship in the United States. Cars are production-based sedans, coupes and hatchbacks with chassis and suspensions that have been modified for maximum performance.

The on-track action is always very intense and hard-fought and team strategy can make a big difference. USTCC events utilize a standing start which is one of the most exciting thrills in all of motorsports.
There are four classes in USTCC. Sportsman is the entry level class with cars putting out about 200 hp. Next up in the Touring Car class and cars here put out around 300 hp. The Super Touring class cars are a bit quicker and these cars are closer to about 400 hp. The GT cars usually have big V8 engines putting out over 500 hp.
